Spring Session

Christian Performance Theatre is excited to offer a variety of theatre classes this spring.  Students have the opportunity to become fully immersed in music theater by enrolling in our Enrollment Show/Class, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr. or focus on developing their skills in voice, dance or drama in a Thursday evening class.  Classes meet weekly throughout the spring session and are offered on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. During the last week of class, a high-energy showcase is presented by each class to showcase what they have learned for their friends and family.

If you are registering for a Thursday night class, please list your 1st and 2nd choice.  Class sizes are limited and our website allows you to register for a class that may indeed be full.  Check your Class Confirmation on your family account to verify your class.

Students (ages 8-18) enrolled in a spring class are eligible to audition for our spring production of The Music Man! Check out  The Music Man show page for more information.

Our Gang

Jumpin' journeys

Ages 5-7

Instructor: Nicole Cox

In Our Gang, our youngest actors learn what it means to be on stage. With memorable music and a dynamic script, we incorporate movement, characters, voicings, and fun to build confidence and present a showcase of our work at the end of the time together as an "opening act" for the enrollment show. Jumpin' Journeys will put us on an adventure that will surely impress Flat Stanley.

Enrollment Show Class

Flat Stanley Jr.

Ages 8-16

Instructors: Tucker Tasker, Kaili Doeden

The beloved children's book written by Jeff Brown is a literary and pop culture phenomenon.  Filled with infectious songs and non-stop adventure, Flat Stanley JR. is a perfect show to introduce young performers to the magic of live theatre.
Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary, everyday ten-year-old until the bulletin board above his bed falls on top of him. The next morning, Stanley wakes up flat. In a whirlwind musical travelogue, Stanley — the ultimate exchange student — scours the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. He's stamped, posted and cancelled from Hollywood and France to Honolulu and beyond, all in an effort to become a three-dimensional boy once more. Stanley’s journey takes him to many interesting locales, filled with lots of colorful characters, which make for great casting opportunities.

Enrollment Show Classes are designed to give a taste of what productions are like! Acting, singing, and choreography are experienced weekly. Parents are encouraged to get involved with sets, costumes, or any number of departments that bring a show together. Students enrolled in the class are automatically cast in the show.
