About CPT

Christian Performance Theatre (CPT) is an after-school theater arts program in all aspects of the performing arts. We offer fall, winter and spring sessions and students ages 5-18 are instructed in voice, drama, dance, improvisation, musical theater and more. Ages 8-18 currently enrolled in the class session are welcome to audition for a Broadway-style production. Parents also make a commitment to serve as a vital and active participant of the production by serving on production committees. We round out the year with our summer camps combining games, summer fun and opportunities for learning and growing in theatrical skills.

Classes

Develop your skills!

Christian Performance Theatre is excited to offer a variety of theatre classes.  Students have the opportunity to become fully immersed in music theater by enrolling in our Enrollment Show/Class or focus on developing their skills in voice, dance, or drama.  Classes run for ten consecutive weeks and are offered on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. During the last week of class, a high-energy showcase is presented by each class to showcase what they have learned for their friends and family.

shows

Take the Stage!

Christian Performance Theatre produces Broadway-style, family-friendly musicals throughout the year for audiences of thousands. Students enrolled in classes (ages 8-18) are eligible to audition for a CPT show. Students not cast in the show can work behind-the-scenes on the technical or backstage crew. Parents play an important part with roles on production committees that help bring the show to life. Everyone makes lasting friendships and memories with our CPT family.

camps

Join the fun!

During the summer, CPT puts on week-long musical theater day camps for students ages 5-18. Camps are designed to be a fun and energetic immersion into the world of musical theater. Camps are jam-packed with games, activities, and interactive workshops that build performance skills, self-confidence, and teamwork. Typical camps include team competitions; rotations through drama, dance, and music workshops; and a concluding showcase for family and friends. Through praise, worship, prayer, and daily devotions, CPT teen camps are particularly focused on spiritual growth.
